Starting A Discussion With Scientists

Welcome to our LADDERS discussion group! This blog is meant for teachers, educators and their students to have a venue to ask questions directly to scientists at Michigan State University. My name is Shannon Rossio, and my colleague's name is Michael Hillman. We are undergraduate students studying zoology here at Michigan State University. As presenters of virtual outreach programs led by the MSU Museum, we are here to answer any questions you (or your students!) might have about our programs, their contents, and just on science in general. We will also serve as the link between the scientists on our campus and your classroom, so that your students can be directly in contact with scientists and get all their questions answered!
Which program did you and your students participate in? We would love to hear your comments or questions about our inquiry programs aimed at middle-school students: our cricket program, our termite behavior program, or our finch program!
